What a great weekend in Reservoir Park! Had a blast with the Kids Run Club Saturday morning, exploring the trails and learning about the young eagles in our midst. Had a great swim at Lumsden’s with junior triathlete Adam before he headed off for two weeks of National Chess Competition in Montreal…then back to the Reservoir and the Wolfville Bike Park to help out with the Race the Reservoir event- our first Bicycle Nova Scotia race at this venue. So happy to hear the excitement and enthusiasm from cyclists from around the province….all are praising the great work of Trail Flow, our very own local trail builders. It’s everything I hoped for and more!! Here are some photos from Day one with a fair number of youth teams and a smaller crowd than today. Today I was marshalling so not able to take pics on the course but there are some great shots making their way to FB.
Thanks to Club President, Tanya MacInnis for supervising the BRIX@SIX last week while I was away.
May post an evening swim for Lumsden’s at 7 PM tomorrow if not lightening and thundering…stay tuned.
